Solenn Heusaff is a new mom a͎n͎d͎ her firstborn, Thylane Katana, just arrived on January 1.
Solenn recently posted a photo of her showing her body after she gave birth.
“4 days Post Partum. Will be sharing my journey of recovery once i learn a little more about it. For now wont be exercising because of my CS but will alowly get back into it. In time..” she said in her caption.
On Solenn a͎n͎d͎ her husba͎n͎d͎ Nico Bolzico’s Instagram posts, it may seem like the pregnancy h͎a͎s͎ been all sorts of amazing.
But on the Kapuso actress’ recent vlog post, Solenn revealed she had to go through a lot of complications, including almost giving birth at just her fifth month.
At first, Solenn said she w͎a͎s͎ fine in the first four months of her pregnancy. She said she had the “easiest pregnancy ever” with no morning sickness, no cravings, a͎n͎d͎ no mood swings.
Things threatened to go wrong when doctors told her that the baby w͎a͎s͎ “in the 10th percentile, meaning it w͎a͎s͎ very small.”
She a͎n͎d͎ Bolzico were worried that she might have to give birth at five months, which posed a great risk to the baby’s health.
“I would have to say that the worst week a͎n͎d͎ a half, two weeks of my life. It went by so slow. I couldn’t do anything . . . I remember Nico a͎n͎d͎ I were crying every day,” Heussaff said.
What helped them get through it, Heussaff continued, w͎a͎s͎ having friends who consoled her with similar experiences, a͎n͎d͎ the unerring support of her husba͎n͎d͎ who “w͎a͎s͎ so good at being my nurse.”
With the help of the medication a͎n͎d͎ her 3000-calorie diet, their baby went up to 30 percentile.
Solenn described the 3000-calorie diet as “crazy.”
“It’s been such a long journey. It’s been a long, long journey. So happy I’m finally at the end,” Heussaff, in tears, said.
