Comedian Joey de Leon trended on Twitter on Tuesday, January 7, after cracking a lewd joke during a segment on noontime show Eat Bulaga.
Joey de Leon is in hot water once again for his remarks to women, this time made on yesterday’s episode of “Eat Bulaga!”
De Leon made the remarks during the program’s “Bawal Judgemental” (“You Can’t Be Judgemental”) contest, where beauty queen a͎n͎d͎ flight attendant Danna Rose Socaoco w͎a͎s͎ a judge. After introducing Socaoco a͎n͎d͎ asking about her work, de Leon told her “Ang ga͎n͎d͎a ng legs. Bihira ko sabihin ‘yan, a͎n͎d͎ later said, “Sana masakyan kita isang araw”.
His jokes have drawn flak a͎n͎d͎ disgust, that seeing or hearing him say things like these isn’t new anymore.
Since Eat Bulaga! is a variety show meant for people of all ages, netizens believe that his jokes a͎n͎d͎ remarks might just influence a lot of young viewers.
