Jobert Sucaldito h͎a͎s͎ earned the ire of netizens after he wished actress Nadine Lustre to just jump off a building.
The online world abuzz after an audio file of Jobert’s disturbing comments toward Nadine circulated online. The h͎a͎s͎htag #SuicideIsNotAJokeJobert a͎n͎d͎ #ApologizeToNadine went viral Wednesday morning as netizen aired their frustration over the veteran entertainment writer.
In an audio file that h͎a͎s͎ spread like wildfire online, Jobert can be heard saying, “Di kami ang may pakulo ng lahat ng ito. Wala kaming alam sa buhay ng mga idols ninyo. Sila ang naggawa-gawa ng mga kwento na mali namin ay pinatulan namin. Di ba? Kaya lumaki at medyo napag-uusapan. Di ba yun naman ang gusto nila? Kuno kuno may mga labas ang pwet, naka-T-back pa dun sa building tapos may nakalagay na mga caption na mga parang gustong tumalon. Sana tumalon na lang kung ganun din naman pala.”
He added that Nadine should’ve avoided being sarcastic a͎n͎d͎ rather called Lo a͎n͎d͎ told him her side of the story.
“Masyado kang nag-feeling above him or many of us – na kaya mo siyang maliitin. Everything that Ricko Lo wrote about you, even the mental illness angle, were researched. Galing din sa ‘yo lahat iyon. Hindi gawa-gawa iyon,” Sucaldito wrote.
He did mention the name of the actress a͎n͎d͎ by the looks of his description, he w͎a͎s͎ talking about Nadine’s cryptic posts.
Jobert’s remarks have prompted Nadine’s fans to fire back a͎n͎d͎ dema͎n͎d͎ an apology.
And just a few hours ago, ABS-CBN News head Ging Reyes issued an official statement via Twitter regarding the matter.
According to the tweet, they are already “investigating reports” regarding Jobert’s statements. They also expressed their take on the mental health issue.
