Bea Alonzo once again commented on the “ghosting” controversy that she suffered from ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
The actress revealed several months ago that she a͎n͎d͎ her former partner ended their relationship in a strange way.
The break up of Alonzo a͎n͎d͎ Gerald Anderson had been one of the most talked-about showbiz news last year.
In an article published by Mookie Lacuesta for Esquire Philippines, Bea straightforwardly disclosed that she h͎a͎s͎ moved on from the heavy issue.
She also condemned how her former partner ended their romantic relationship that lasted for many years.
“I’m so over it, baka mag feeling-guwapo pa ‘yung ex ko… Leaving somebody without saying goodbye is such an as*hole thing to do,” she quipped.
“I’m sorry but I can’t think of a perfect word for it — it’s so disrespectful,” she added.
The term ‘ghosting’ w͎a͎s͎ attributed to Anderson after he cut his communication with Alonzo without saying goodbye.
“Because honestly, to my understa͎n͎d͎ing, we did not break up. He just started not talking to me,” Alonzo said last year.
For now, Alonzo said she is still healing the wounds of her previous relationship. It’s also a time of rediscovering herself.
“I didn’t know that the one thing that could kill me could actually bring me back to life. I’ve never felt so alive. I’m rediscovering myself right now—that’s actually what I’m excited about,” she said.
“I’ve always been in a relationship, that’s the thing, [so] it’s very liberating that, right now, I’m setting my goals just for me.
“I don’t have to think of another person; right now, all I want is to do a lot of movies a͎n͎d͎ see if they can compete outside the country,” she added.
